I drove to far forward into a parking spot, and the front air dam rubbed up on the concrete curb.
When I backed out, it pulled the plastic air dam away from the grill, so now there's a gap between the top of the dam and the bottom of the grill.

I can clearly see where there used to be a clip that joined the two, as there is a small hole into which the clip would fit, and there are clips on both sides of the grill.

I've performed some searches and have come up with nothing.
Anybody know where one might access these clip-aroonies?

My best guess is that it's #280 .

Looks like there should be 3 of these holding the grill to the bumper assembly... one on both ends and one dead center.
I'm missing the one in dead center.

Haha, THAT'S IT!

I guess there would be 6... I just looked at the bottom edge of the grill, there must be 3 on the top as well.

How wild, you never found the cat!

I'll be quite frank with ya, call me a high roller if you must, but I'm willing to part with the $3 in order to get my hands on one of those clips.

Do you possess, and would you be willing to share the link or whatnot to where I can acquire these clips?

Thanks man- you're a fountain of information.

I have just wrecked the front of my SLK on a curb too .
Having come from a fairly stubby Audi A3 I miss judged the length of the bonnet and peeled the underneath forward as I reversed out , it put 2 big splits in it but at least the grill stayed put .

I also done the same pulled to close and now have two cracks. Looking for someone to plastic weld and refinish front bumper. Has anyone had good results by having this air dam plastic welded and refinished? Thanks in advance.
