Hello, I'm new to the site and actually my g/f has a 2003 SLK320. The owner sold us it with terrible floormats that don't fit/get under the pedals. I found a set of SLK mats in great conditions out of a 2006 SLK280 and was wondering if they would bolt up to my g/f's car? They do have the two prongs that hold the mats in place and they look to be in the same position as her's, but was just wondering if they would fit. If not where can I find some nice carpeted floormats that have the prong fittings, yet don't cost $100 plus?
Thank you
Justin.

I don't know if the footwell sizes are the same for the R170 (2003 SLK320) as those for the R171 (2006 SLK280). My guess is that they are not the same/identical in terms of size, layout and fit.

IIRC, the floor mats (even on the R171) are less than $100 at the local MB (something closer to $70). I prefer the all season ones than the carpet type. They now have the hexagonal patterns on them too with MB logo molded on the rubber.

BTW, welcome and if you could fill in your profile under User CP (at least the vehicle year and type and your location please), this will help others who may have the info on your question. Please await further instructions from our Sgt-At-Arms (jbanks15).

I had rubber winter mats in my SLK320. When I sold it, I kept the mats. The just about fit the SLK350. Passenger side has just a slight bump in it because the seat track is apparently a little more forward.

But for the regular mats, I would get originals myself...

Dear All ,

In fact I am also looking for the original floor mats with logo for R170.
I could not find any web site selling those .
If some body can give me a link , I will appreciate a lot.
As I am Turkey , it is better to have them in Europe , if possible ..

Thanks,

Kıvanç DUNDAR

A1706802240 is the designo mat set.

A1706802740 is the "Special Edition" mat set. See second set of color codes.

My dealer here in London only keeps basic mats for the R170's in stock, all others are special order. None are listed as "end of sale", so all should be able to be ordered..

No clue - look in your phone book?! Any Mercedes Dealer should be able to order the parts for you?
