Has anyone here used the Eurocharged version 2 to reflashing their ECU? I guess they no longer need to reflashing through our computers but rather they send a tune for our mods to our computers and with the correct cable we reflashing at our convenience. Sounds more like the SCT tuner I had for the Mustang Cobra.
I would like to know how easy/difficult it is keeping in mind I have only had a cell phone for 4 months and was using webTV not that long ago:crying:
even if anyone did themreflash where Euro took control of your computer and did the reflashing let me know what you think of their tune, happy, feel the extra power. I would also be getting the 65mm pulley also. Thanks, Mark

I got an ECU Tune from Eurocharged for my 320 a few days ago.

They shipped out just a cable and then you hook it to a laptop and run the Eurocharged software. This picks up the cars details from the ECU and makes a file of it which you then send to them.

They then do a custom tune based on the info from the file and any other you have supplied, this tune is emailed to you in a few days.

You then again pug in the cable to the car and your laptop, run the software, link the file and reflash your ECU following the steps provided.

They send you a stock tune and a custom performance tune so you can shift back to stock whenever you require without any trouble.

The whole re flash took less than 30 min. My 320 is driving so much more better now, the acceleration is crisper and overall you feel the extra power.

They mentioned 25 HP to me as I live in a hot climate and for the price I paid $ 325. its definitely worth it.

Well my tune did something to something electronic that rendered my Supercharger unable to go into boost. Either that or the process with the batterycharger operating while tuning when the easiest way is to disable the fans and then the laptop's batteries are capable of doing a reflash at least two times without any charger assistance. It is always possible that something failed on my car in a purely circumstantial manner. I didn't want to send my ECU in the mail, now I need to ask Eurocharged if I can send it in for a bench tune to be sure there isn't something wrong with a tune so other variables can be followed to get this resolvedMy worst. The thing I feared the most came to pass. How long and at what expense remains to be seen. I do repeat, the lack of boost could be purely coincidental.

ECU flash / Tune for non-supercharged engines?

I've just looked at the Eurocharge web site for my SLK320 and it is not listed as a model they Flash/Tune (I'm a little bit of a newbie to computer controled engines as you may see). What exactly is a "ECU flash" or "ECU Tune"? Is it only for Supercharged or Turbo engines?

wsfhmed ... is your SLK s 320? AKA not supercharged? Was it really worth the $325 ?

Thanks.

If it were me I would start saving for an AMG. Amazing speeds for a 3.2 liter motor. I have gotten the dual cold air intake from Rob, a 65mm pulley and 2 tunes from E/C with more going on as soon as I get a custom pulley made. I am expecting over 400hp at the crank.
On the other hand if you plan to keep the SLK320 go ahead and get a tune, just not the return of a supercharged motor.
