i have my R171 engine cover foam completely lost, is it important to have it? is it for sound deadening or thermal insulation? any idea how to replace it?

Sorry for the confusion, i did not elaborate correctly, i am referring to the internal plastic cover, pic attached

datacard and part number and replacement cost

Not particularly important in that engine, the foam is for sound deadening.
