To be honest, for most things I go to my local trusted garage (not the one mentioned), which is an allrounder, and for specialistic things I just go to the dealer.

If you go to a local garage, check if they are able to register maintenance in the online/digital mercedes maintenance history. Mine does, and it secures the maintenance records for the car. They also check digitally what other maintenance is due (like brake fluid, spark-plugs etc.) and inform me when something is due next year.
