this is my second post today as I am taking some time to get my ride up to par. I have the manual seats in my ride and noticed the driver side seat is stuck and will not move up or back..the knob on the side of the seat does not activate the top part of the seat either. Would I be better off replacing the seat with an aftermarket replacement? Thanks for your advice, input or suggestions for a remedy.( I tried lubricants to get the seat to move but nothing has changed)

so previously it moved ok so you are familiar with 'lifting' your butt, weight on your feet, and then moving the seat?

Before splashing out for aftermarket seats , unless you want to , I'd remove the seat and check the sub frame mehanism properly , it might be something simple .

You can occasionally pick up a sub frame on ebay etc ...
