I'm looking for a new set of wheels for my 2005 R171 SLK200. I've found some amazing wheels with these sizes:

Front 8,5 225/40/18 ET42
Rear 9,5 255/35/18 ET42

Do you think these wheels fit my car? My SLK comes with optional sport suspension

Many thanks,

With those ETs and tyre sizes , you'll probably be ok with 10mm spacers on the front and 5mm on the rear ( 12mm & 7mm to be exact ) !

The ET value for these rims is too big. Like Craig stated, nothing that can't be remedied with spacers. There are however folks that state spacers influence driving behaviour which should be avoided.
One thing to look at closely is if the front calipers have enough room (distance to the spokes of the rim). If you have stock calipers on your 200 there should be no problem.
