I want to start working on my passenger seat due to pops I get while turning intermittently. It seems to be in the backrest.

I thought the Workshop Manual CD would be a good place to start looking.

Are these manuals detailed enough to go into taking apart the different components that form the seat?

Just trying to make sure I'm not off base to think the official manual will cover this?

Thanks!

Mine does (2005 model though). I used it when I repaired the seat heating element.

First check that it is not the seat belt buckle hitting the seat back is making the poping sound. Pull it around so it is in front of the seat and see if it stops.

IIRC I was reading one of Sean's (Seanhump) posts recently where he told how to get the back of the seat off without having to completely disconnect the seat bottom from the car. It was in an Airscarf thread within the last two weeks.
