I have been quiet on the forum, but not quiet with work. Enclosed pic of detailing work. All fluids changed and underside cleaned and rust protected. 'Dolly' looks much better and now is a 'proper' SLK.

I did have trouble undoing the Supercharger level and the Transmission drain, but with persistence (and a chisel) undid them. The Torque sockets are a little small! No leaks on the Transmission Electrical plug - but replaced anyway. The fluid was very clean and debris free in the pan.

No serious problems on a low mileage full service history car.

Did all of you know SLK stands for Sporty Light Short in German - not as nice as SLK!

I is interesting that the MB service records are nowhere near as comprehensive as the Bosh dealer invoices and they did not stick to the 'A' 'B' etc. service, but it was a while ago and to be fair the car did do only a few hundred miles between some services when newish. The DIY section is for already created DIYs.
diy has pictures and step by steps of any procedure :D
