One of my hoses to roof hydraulics broke. Fixed it now deck lid won't close. If I release pressure to pump still won't close. But opens fine and deck lid will close. Suggestions? Thank you.

Did you try lubricating the mechanism?

Your post is confusing, please edit it to eliminate the contradictory statements. Do you have any idea why the hose broke? The cylinders can seize up, causing irregular motion.

If you've exhausted all options, remove and send the cylinders out for rebuilding.

how much hydraulic fluid did you lose in the process of all of this? if you are low on fluid or have a line full of air it's not going to work until you refill the reservoir and run the pump in either direction a few times to purge the lines.
