Went overseas for 2 weeks come back and unluckily enough my battery must have dropped a cell the last time I drove it before leaving. So I have a new battery but the central locking isnt working. The lights flash when I use the key, but my passenger door is constantly unlocked at the moment and im having to manually lock the drivers side door.

Middle Central lock button also is not working, others with the same problem report that it just fixed itself after time anyone know of anything I can do in the meantime?

Just stuffed around for about 30mins trying to get this central locking working, tried putting the key to position 2 and holding in lock for a few seconds then back to 0, same thing with unlock and back to 0. My manual says press unlock or lock twice then go to position 2 and it reactivates.

Nothing worked:(

Maybe drive the car for about 100 miles and see if it had reset itself?

Take out the vacuum pump from the trunk and check that it's all right. Mine started to work just by removing it and reinstalling.

Silferme,

You might want to post an introduction in the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section, if you haven’t already.

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:

If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
In addition, if you haven’t, please post your question in the appropriate discussion forum for a quicker response and only once. Be patient and a knowledgeable member or guest will address your question.
