For COMAND NGT 2.0 or pre-facelift R171 (presuming Sync with Head Unit has been enabled in the MFD menu, so the analog clock will sync with COMAND head unit when the date/time has been changed in the COMAND unit):

Press SERV to call up System menu
Press Time (soft key), Date/Time setting menu appears
Use < or > to select the hours/minutes that one wishes to change (selected item will be highlighted in darker colour)
Press ▲ or ▼ to set the hour/minute
Press Back (soft key) or wait for screen to change

Watch and enjoy the movement of the hands on the analog clock move to the newly set time.

Date can only be set if GPS reception is available (for those who are doing the change around midnight local time).

Bloody nuissance in Spain, for example, no sense at all, as a matter of fact it's even worse for our already weak economy, as Spaniards have different times around here, like lunch at 1400, ending your work at 1900 or 2000, etc.. we end up paying for lighting all winter much earlier, instead of having a couple of hours more light in the afternoons..

I don't recall where I read that Spain should be on Greenwich time instead of EU time (like Portugal) and that was due to another stupid political decision..(looks like Franco decided to follow Germany on the CET on March 16th, 1940)

As a matter of fact the Meridian is crossing Spain in its eastermost part, so more than 75% of Spain is left of Greenwich.

Funny enough, not so long ago, 12:00 coincided with the uppermost position of the sun, midday, now when the sun is at this high position, it's 14:00..

Aren't we always overcomplicating ourselves? :td:

The blokes down here tell me that there catching up, I tell them … Please Don’t!
Are you still in Devonport, Aukland? I used to spend a lot of time down there, and stole a car parking pass from them - it confused the fek out of the gate-guys at Devonport in Plymouth (Devon, UK) when I used to use it over here :)

We live in the Central Zone 10 miles from the Eastern Zone and that area is always 1 hour ahead of us, except for some towns and counties which do not honor the time zone.

Example....cruise east to Vincennes gain 1 hour.....cruise south towards Evansville lose 1 hour.....cruise due north to Lawrenceville......you gain and lose one hour so time stays the same. Changes are not marked by signs, so while en route you're never really sure what bloody time it might be! You can be either 1 hour early or 1 hour late to any given appointment or reservation.

Yea, still working in Devonport.
I’ll let security know where to look for their missing parking permit :)

That's how the border counties around the Arizona/Utah border are. We literally had to ask each motel what time it was when we checked in each night.
