Dash lights turning off at different times?

I've been meaning to ask this question for a while but now that more electrical issues seem to be creeping up, it reminded me I need to ask. On my 2000 slk230, when I turn off my lights, the dash lights go off first, and then about 1 second or so later, the lights behind the temperature settings go off. I guess I've always had cars all the lights go off simultaneously so just wondering if this delay is normal or not? I took a video, but I think you'll need to lean your head to the right because it won't let me flip the video.
