Perhaps someone will jump in with a hard Yea/Na. However if you check the basic wheel specs, like; bolt pattern, stud size, width(you say 1/2"), inner diameters(to sure they fit over the brakes), and offset. Remember the SLK uses different wheels/tires for the front and rear, but I think that is not an absolute hard law. However, you need to be really sure the wheel/tire combo you select properly fits., front and rear. A bit of work on the spec side and measurement comparisons should get you where need to be.
