connect amp directly to cd player power

So I replaced the audio 20 on my 06 slk, still need more speaker power so decided to add this amp with a couple of speakers in the back

Sony 500W 2.1 Channel Amplifier [XM-N502] price, review and buy in UAE, Dubai, Abu Dhabi | Souq.com

The speakers have an rms of 40 each, the amp outputs 65 per channel, I m no expert but according to my readings this should be fine.

The part that I can do myself is run power from the battery, can I just "steal" power from the line going to the single din cd player. Will it handle the power? The audio 20 probably pulled more power than my small cd player....

thanks

That should be ok ...

There is a permanent live (actually the whole fusebox) in the area behind the airbag on the passenger side - accessible via the flap on the side of the dashboard - you may want to feed it from there ...
I cant find the place u are talking about. Do u mind showing me in a pic please. I think i almost removed the airbag
