It,s not working so I can't adjust the time etc,
I don't know if I can get the plastic strip with the 5 switches off or do I need to remove the complete face of the unit.?

the buttons pop off so you can see if the part that gets depressed is fixable or needs to be replaced completely

For setting the time with the audio system,
see ( page 121).
For setting the time with the COMAND system,
see separate COMAND system operating
instructions.

To be honest I am still getting to grips with the controls and don't know how the command facility works,

reason i ask, is that if that is the only button you need for the clock, there might be another way to set the clock. do you have an owner's and/comand (if u have comand) manuals?

Yes I think I have all the manuals but I can't access the system menu where the time/ date function may be turned off to allow me change the date as per the control system pg 121

what buttons are you using to get to that menu"? i use the down arrows by the ok button

I am also having trouble getting the sat nav to find my current location?, I have removed and replaced the disk in the boot to try a reset but with no success to date, may be contributing to my time setting issues?????

yes. is your car outside or inside a garage? needs to be outside for gps to work

I have been using the serv button and then attempting to select system with the soft key
pg 244 of the command manual

well i don't remember back to my 05 350 with the soft serv button,but the later comand buttons popped off. has the serv button ever worked?
