Right. I forgot to mention that when everything was working well, i went on a drive and decided to floor it in first gear until redline, after that, it started to cause issues and wouldn't always disengage until it stopped completely.
Just a off-the-wall thought but are the heat shields in place? Fluid is not being boiled?

As I mentioned in my 1st reply mine is 722.605 - AUTO!
Either wrong numbers or not Manual.
I am not going to guess, will leave it open ;)

It is an external leak, however it is very small and the reservoir level didn't seem to drop. It only started leaking after we changed the whole clutch assembly (DMF, PP, clutch disk, throwout bearing). Could it be that the new pressure plate blew the CMC?
Missed this, did not come up as a new post. Looks like you are in good hands anyway.

It's been nearly 6 months since I last moved it into the garage but as far as I can remember it feels like a normal clutch - and it's the original one @ 180k+ miles so kudos to the owner , Me ;) - there will always be Bite and Release points and halfway down is perfectly fine:

Creaking is probably the pressure plate springs in operation and nothing to worry about 🤷‍♂️

Sounds to me that a seal has gone or that there is a connection that is not torqued up enough and that fluid has leaked out and air has been sucked in - leak needs to be fixed and the system re-bled - maybe
If it's just an annoying noise and nothing to worry about then i'm fine because the exhaust is so loud i don't hear it when the car is on.

Could be

The pedal return spring also has a habit of drying out and making a creaking noise, you can have a look at that easily enough if you stick your head in the footwell - top of the pedal, big, usually dry spring, but that tends to be more noticeable

Oh it's definitely not the spring, when i look under the car it gets louder so i'm sure it's either the PP or the slave cylinder but i think the latter is unlikely.

Cool, that's one ruled out then (y)

You still haven't posted your VIN for Data Card Request- Vehicle Data Card | Mercedes SLK World - it'll give Jeff something to do 🙃

I have a question; do i need to bleed the clutch after fitting a new clutch master cylinder or do i just have to pump the pedal a couple times and that's it? Mechanic says no need to bleed after new CMC.

Does anybody have experience with this?
Patience grasshopper. Some of our "experts" do need to 😴 ya know. We are a world-wide community.

Don't be so Germanic :D If the mechanic says no bleeding required then give it a go. It can always be bled later if it feels soft.
LOL right you are... but I feel insulted even though I live in Germany I really don't like the mentality of Germans (I'm part German part Russian and went to school in France...lol) xD. Anyway, i noticed that the slk sounds really raspy and not deep at all like i'd like it to be even though the exhaust headers are branded AMG, I think i might have an exhaust leak or a bad cat? i need to make a new discussion about it...
