I use GTechniq Tri-Clean - cleans brilliantly, and no issues with residue. I've previously used 303 aerospace protectant, and the autoglym equivalent, but neither clears the ground in grime you didn't know you had like triclean does
I use Carplan Matt dash wipes but my car only gets dusty and is generally fairly clean.
They seem ok to me.
The rubber coating was probably a cheap fix to make things feel nice in the showroom?
My SLK is black, so always looks a bit dusty (not dirty) normally! I would like to buy a polishing machine and the kit and would like advice. Any thoughts on a home/DIY no frills buffing machine - no scratches on the paintwork, it just needs a brighter shine!
Thanks -
