Hi, My 2004 SLK 32, after a night of sitting, will make a slight chirp from a dead stop when I give it gas. I only hear it when I have the radio off and the windows down, and I can deal with it.

It goes away after the car runs for a while, and for the rest of the day, it doesn't happen.

I've been reading, and there seems to be a consensus that this is the supercharger clutch bearing. I initially thought it was a slipping belt. Questions:

- Is there any way to pinpoint if this is the supercharger clutch?
- Has anyone had experience with this? What was the resolution?
- Could it be the transmission clutch and not the supercharger clutch?
- Can this cause other problems?
- I can't locate the part online, can anyone tell me where to find it?
