2001 slk 230 Manual, so I'm having battery charging issues car came to me with this fault it has new battery new alternator still isn't charging my next port of call will be wiring fuses etc

Someone mentioned the crash relay, not being connected well in a case where all components delivered what was needed on their own like - 14 volts from alternator, but not to the battery (or similar). And being in UK, moisture, rust, bad connections... Serious number of points to check!
Yes I'm starting to feel like I know what the issue is will update later when I've tried a few things great site
OK problem solved just had to get my head around it 125 amp fuse had blown luckily I have another slk here for spare parts we move on to the rear brakes now once again everybody thanks for your little pointers
Yes I was thinking just the same thing let's see how it goes over the weekend and I'm going to be using it for commuting to work fingers crossed
