CDI service charges

I see this has been covered a couple of years ago , but could someone give me an idea of the cost of the first A service and following b and then A and B again taking it to 4 years . I won't be doing high milleages but these are done on an annual basis . It's a 2015 Slk 250 CDI AMG Sport . I am looking at the service plan option .

Also is it correct that the rear dif oil should be changed at around 2500 .

Look forward to hearing your replies.

Michael.

Hi , Robcurs.

I contacted Mercedes today to ask what an A Service and a B service were followed by another a and b so totaling 4 years of services . And as individual services .They said they would have to go and find out and ring me back . I said before you go how much for a 4 year service plan and gave them my reg and was told £37 a month , total £1776 . I knew this was wrong as I had already used the web tool and it quoted £26 per month . They came back with a figure of £1693 for 4 separate services not including ware and tear parts like brakes . They still could not give me an individual price . I told them the service plan price was wrong and they said ah your car should be classed as nearly new so it's only £26 a month , total £1248. So a saving of £445 , not bad I thought .
So I will be going for that .

Michael:grin:
It should be £26/month for 1 service per year for a new car. It has gone up a little but £37 must be for a better service plan or for a used car that will need additional servicing due to age.

£37 is for a used car.

I think that's only for the limited slip differential, which is only in the SLK55.

Just to give you a point of reference: On the R171 SLK 55 the rear differential oil is changed at the same time as transmission service, i.e., every 40,000 miles.

That would be why the SLK55 is £43/month on the same service plan, plus it looks like it gets a service at 10,000 miles, not 15,000.
