Hi all - I'm not affiliated with Griot's (other than the fact that I've sent them a lot of money over the years). I've never used their Glass Sealant product before but was looking for something to use to protect the glass panoramic top on my SLK. I tried it out on my wife's Lexus first and was satisfied with the results, so earlier this week applied it to my roof. When I washed it yesterday, was impressed with the way the water beaded up and ran off -- enough so that I took a short video to show everyone here. Don't know that it is any different than RainX, Jet Seal, etc. But I liked the way it worked.

As do I. I don't have a pano roof on my R171, of course, but the stuff works on anything glass. I use on all the windows. The roof is unlikely to get grit-blasted by dust, but there's no reason the Griot's Glass Clay and 6" buffer with Glass Polish won't work up there as well as they do on the windshield & backlight.
