I have an SLK200 and have always washed my car by hand using the local hand jet wash. However, it is closed.
My previous car was an MX5 and I could not take this through a car wash. So I have got used to washing my car by hand for years.
Is it safe to take an SLK200 through a carwash? I am a bit nervous in case water gets in as its a convertible. Plus, I have issues with water getting in the boot which has screwed up the rear SAM
