Hey guys,
I'm replacing the front lower control arms on my SLK. Got everything out with no problem but when I went to install the new ones I'm having a hell of a time getting them back in there. The problem is most the forward mounts. They were pretty snug when I was taking them out. Anyone that has done this have any tips? I've been hammering and moving things for an hour and got nowhere :|

Ok totally got it! If you stick in there and use a jack to push it in.. it won't work. It slides towards you a bit. So I jacked it up a little, then let pivot down and hit it forward as far as I could with a deadblow. THen when you lift it up it will pivot farther into the bracket. Rinse and repeat until you get it lined up with the holes. It also helps to keep hitting in the other side (don't jam a bolt in because it limits your wiggle room and you could snap it). Took a while but I got it.
