Yes this does go onto a R171.

$250 (ONO) not including postage, which would be expensive as it is large and rather heavy.

Mercedes SLK SLC: Mark 2 Mark 3 Mark 4. 2005-2017

The Bird Automotive Mercedes SLK SLC is installed in the provided Receiver Pipes. The two Pipes serve as receivers for all versions of the Rack in a manner similar to trailer hitch racks seen on SUV's. They are 1" 25mm diameter, black, and are intentionally inconspicuous, nearly invisible without bending over to look. The Mercedes SLK SLC Bicycle Rack carries one or two bikes. Ski and Snowboard Rack included. When not in use, the Rack is easily removed in a couple of minutes and can be stored in the trunk/boot. Snow Racks can also be stored in the trunk, requiring a few more minutes. No tools are required to prepare the racks for trunk storage.

Installation/Fitment of the Receiver Pipes: Accomplished in 1-2 hours working under the car and in the trunk/boot by anyone of average mechanical ability. Installation requires no special hand tools or removal of any bumper or body components. A bolt-on fitment, it requires no cutting, drilling or removal of any body panels or components. Because the car is so low, the rear must be raised at least 4" 10 cm to access the under car locations. Ramps, jack stands, or a professional lift are required. Using the factory jack is not an option. Thorough illustrated instructions are provided.

Assembly of the removable portion of the rack requires about 10 minutes.

In no particular order

1. For sale threads are not editable by the poster. If you need a change made, please contact a moderator.
2, Thread should include price, pictures, contact info like email address. Try to not post a phone number. If you have less than 15 posts, you won't be able to reply by pm as newbies won't be able to pm the seller either since they also probably have less than the required 15 posts to do so.
3. Why are threads uneditable? In case of a dispute, the seller cannot go back and say something was X when it was Y, because the seller changed it in his favor.
4. Seller, please post a reply informing us that it sold when someone buys it. Saves folks trawling for parts, only to find that they have gone. Thanks.
