Normally it's the pads squeeling in the calipers that cause the noise. Strip the muck out of the contact areas between the pads and calipers then use copper grease during reassembly. Sjould cure any squeeking.

Does anyone know what type of disc is better for the the Slk 230. Is it just vented or drilled, grooved and vented? Mine are squealing like hell. I was looking at drilled/grooved?
