Hi,

Mine doesn't appear to work; is there anything 'special' with these?
I've tried just opening the boot without ign, with ign on, with exterior lights on etc but doesn't work. I've tested the feed to the lamp and there's nowt there during any of the above.
The lamp is an LED item - would this be original or retrofit? If there's a fuse for the lamp, wouldn't that also protect 'other' lights on the circuit rather than just one lamp or, is that the MB way!

Cheers,

Cheers Bud,

The little bulb failure light did 'appear' on saturday, but when we stoppped, checked all lights and started up again it had gone out! Maybe that is to do with the LED in the boot/trunk??

I'll swap it laters and let you know.

Thanks for the reply...

AFAIK the trunk light should have no effect on the bulb out indicator. It's for exterior lights only.

Back again!

Have done all the checks and i'm not getting any power to the terminals of the boot light; anyone have any suggestions??

I've made sure the interior light is on (when doors open) and the boot light doesn't have any power to it.

Probably a wire broke/come off somewhere but if so where could it be!!!

Any suggestions appreciated.
