Just felt like sharing this with the rest of you...This is so going to sound like a noob but after going through a thread here yesterday regarding rooftop access using remote key, I realized that I had this option all along...*SAD*
The problem though is that I am missing the boot separator in my trunk when I bought it from a private party.. I thought if I was just to pull the two levers down as if the boot separator existed that my remote key access will work.. not even close. MB said that there are supposed to be sensors that recognizes if the boot separator is open or close.
Even though that all threads say that this is feature is useless, it wuoldve been nice to just have.. the problem is that its going to cost me $500 parts and labor just to get this working again...
If this was the case, that $500 dollars will go towards the Smarttop... and get my money's worth..
