My Bas/Esp light has been coming on intermittently for a while now, but since we've had some warm weather I've noticed that if the outside temperature reads above 18degC the warning light stays off. If the outside temperature shows less than 18degC the light is on.
There are no other symptons....everything else is working fine.
Any ideas folks....?? What could be affected by temparature ?

If the battery voltage drops below a certain range it will cause this, says so right in the owners manual. Maybe your battery is going out or you have a charging issue. This info is in my 01 SLK 320 owners manual
