OK. This car often has trouble getting an E/C tune to "take". Car was acting up so I thought a reflash might help. Oil was changed about 2 weeks ago. Often I have to flash a tune 2 or 3 times to get it to "take". If I drive it easy no issues except for the power loss with no SC working. If I drive and let it rev to 6200rpm for a WOT shift is when I usually get the BAP/EPS light activated in the dash.
When I get a "check engine" light it is almost 0235 which the code reader says is a turbocharger sensor circuit A" I believe. Not 100" on the circuit A. Yeah I know the AMG does not have a turbo but an SC but that is what the readout says with the Eurocharged readout says. I wish it had a turbo.
Anyways do these symptoms sound like the K-40 relay(s)? I will but a new/refurbished one if it seems that is what it is. I believe a member used a new part from one of the ebay vendors(solved his issues) but don't know the official name of the part.
At times a hard drive can cause the power to work again. Not sure what forum the K-40 link has a long list of posts as this seems to be a common issue with this particular part. For those who know about this or even better have had issues with the relays any info would be appreciated. Sweet
