I am glad I was able to make this meet. Evening drive is definitely cool -- literally and figuratively.

It was great to have 6 vehicles. Great to see everyone (Bill, Scott, Pablo, David, Durk and Marcelle), and glad Marcelle came too. Special mention to Bill (SantaMonicaSLK32) and a big thank you for starting the thread and organizing and being the pathfinder.

Photos to follow.

It was great fun tonight even though we started our trip with insane traffic and flying metal objects. Another trip to the bodyshop is in my future ...

It was great seeing everyone again! We got to do our version of American Graffiti, starting at Mel's Drive In.

I think we got as close to the Hollywood sign as we could get in a car these days, and we got to find a few interesting dead ends along the way lol

I hadn't seen the Hollywood reservoir/Lake Hollywood dam before, so to me that was a great overlook stop. The drive along Mullholland had some great city light views towards the SFV, too bad the LA basin was so overcast we could have light views on both sides. Still a very scenic drive overall.

Thanks for the photos posted too!
