Some guidelines

1. Pick an event around the middle of the state so more members will travel to it. Ocala, Orlando, Kissimmee, Sebring, etc. Unless spending the night, no one wants to drive more than 2 hours 1 way.
2. Start a thread, post the event/date and start a sign up list.
3. Start a poll if multiple events to gauge interest. In poll, choose show voters so only Florida members engage in the poll.
4. Check previous events in the Florida section to gauge type of event and how many members signed up.
5. Event 'owner' would be responsible to coordinate with event for parking as an example so all SLKs are in one location.
6. Any member can arrange a meet. No need to be a moderator, minion, or long standing member.
7. A meet can be simple, such as a breakfast, or involved like a show.
8. We have short breaks, but you can join in for a meal, or drive. No problem.
9. Pick a location that you know with good parking and toilets.
10. Preferably with food nearby, or on site.
11. Set a date in advance. As a guide, think a month ahead.
12. Don't worry if you can't edit the first post. Our moderators will do that for you.
