Had a blast driving the SLS along with a variety of AMG's. The SLS is an incredible handling car. It's easy to drive and the visibility over the hood is better that I thought it would be. The suspension and steering along with the ceramic breaks outshine the CLK63 Black in all respects.

It's a bummer that I forgot my camera but maybe easty will post some pics. Hopefully my driving partner, Michelle will send me some fun and fast moving picture laps in the SLS.

I drove the following AMG's...
SLS... Section training
C63... Lead - follow
E63... Drag and stop, then slalom
SLS and SLK55.... ESP avoidance (drag then slam breaks and avoid barrier) then slalom
SLS... Lead - follow (high speed)
CLK63 black ... Data recording (video below [slower than SLS]
SLS and SLK55... autocross

Here's some CLK63 black video's

On a side note, Tommy Kendall mentioned his favorite AMG is the SLK55, besides the SLS. It gives a good light to the 55 since they paired the SLK55 with the SLS on the dynamics training. I'm sure they will do a "Test Drive" show for the SLS on SpeedTV.

He gave us hot lap taxi drives at the end of the event.

I had dinner with Tommy. Did he tell you the two cars he owns? An S63 and a '73 Olds 98 with rooster head and tail!

I am amazed at how many people are here! They said I can use my little Hero cam for the day, so I hope to get a lot of video of all the parts to show.

During the presentation they kept saying how wide the rear is of the SLS, and I must admit that the rear is growing on me seeing it in person. However, baby got a big ass applies more to my rental car, the SLS looks svelter then it's rear track is.

I wish we could have had some overlap so I could have met you. However, the plane was late, mechanical problems, and my rental car took forever as the coupe they had for me was wrecked and I wasn't driving no primer front end, high school repaired quarter panel car at that price, so I had to wait until another came avalable. It was worth the wait! Roadster! BUT DAMN I miss AIR SCARF!

I am hoping to get the SLK55 for the autocross.

I am so excited I got up naturally at 4am (PST). I met a couple of nice guys who have original Gullwings, wish they would have brought them, a ride in one would have made a huge bonus to the nirvana!

Looks like great fun behind the wheel of an amazing feat of MB/AMG engineering. So..........In your opinion, is it worth $250K?

Drive Fast! (you have no choice but to, in an SLS!)
