Hi all,

Just put on some Brembo/AMG 4 pot front calipers and 330mm Pagid rotors on my SLK280.

Also added braided goodridge hoses for good measure.

Planning on doing the rears next. Have got some ATE 36/290 calipers on order to replace the current ATE 36/278

Still in 2 minds whether or not to leave in silver/black or to paint red

Looks Fantastic.

I just upgraded the rear brakes from 36/278 to 36/290. I got the calipers from a CLK270 for £20 a side.

The discs were also from a CLK for £25 the set.

A quick clean and paint (I went for silver in the end), discs and calipers went right on no issues. I also fitted goodridge braided hoses all round.

A good cheap brake upgrade, thanks to Mercedes for standardising the parts across many different models of the same era
