does key fob have 'panic' red button?

Check your data card. It may have been an option when new , I have not tried to open the door from outside with car locked. Best thing to do is close the roof when parking.

I checked his datacard and could not see any reference to alarm. your datacard does not have a reference either I believe as it should be a standard item

My 07 55 has two buttons combined with the roof control. One turns off the towing alarm and the other turns off the ultrasonics detectors in the cockpit. You press them after you remove the key and before you get out to disarm those portions of the alarm. My Datacard says I have 551 ANTI-THEFT/ANTI-BREAK-IN WARNING SYSTEM.

Nope no red button on key ?

Thanks Jeff , in this country all cars built after 06/2001 must have engine immobiliser but alarm is optional.
