Hi Guys,
I'm thinking about getting a set of these wheels in 18" and I need some advice on wheel width and offset for my 55.I would like a lower offset on front and rear than the stock 18" wheels.
These Cades wheels are 18x8 with ET 45 offset and 73 mm center bore(5x112) for the front and the rear's are 18x9 ET 40.
I have 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires on my AMG wheels at the moment, will these fit the Cades wheels?

Thanks.

I'm now thinking of these alloys in 19X8.5 and 19X9.5 OZ Racing Superturismo LM in Matt Graphite.
Just not sure about the offset.
I want the wheels to fill out the arches.
The offset options are ET 30 or ET 38 front.
Rear are ET30 or ET 35.

What do you guys think?

I'd go 30 on the front and 35 rear

I second that.
With 8.5J and ET30 the fronts go 6 mm more inwards and 20 mm more outwards than the original 7.5J and ET37.
With 9.5J and ET35 rears go 18 mm more inwards amd 8 mm more outwards than the original 8.5J and ET30.
Choosing ET30 for rears results in 13 mm more both in-and outwards compared to the original setup.
Don't know how much play you have but I think they will certainly fill out the arches. But I think that's about max you can do with work on the arches.

Thanks Pete,
That sounds good,my car has stock suspension so it should be fine.

Does anyone know what the lowest offset is for front and rear wheels for a 55?

Depends on a couple of things, like wheel size and tyre size. My 8.5 wide fronts are 30 offset and I wouldn't want any lower than that. My 9.5 wide rears are 40 although originally I was trying to get 35. It looks like I could use a 10mm spacer on the rear to end up at et30 but I reckon any more would rub and look daft!
