Evening guys. Intrested in any euro 6 owners who have gone done tbe route of deleting out the adblue and nox system. Current situation with the nox sensors failure and lack of new ones makes me wonder whether to delete the system as it seems a popular choice before your 1k sensors pack in yet again. Its a disgrace merc have not done a full recall and replaced both sensors with a long warranty. That said merc are always in bottom for customer service

Well, if you do it here in England you are breaking the law, and anybody doing it for you likewise. It is more than probable you'd fail the MOT on emissions testing.

Ironically, I found a lot of UK companies specialising in AB deletion, but also take out the SCR.
So, possibly if the emissions remain in parameter.....

Yes i understand how it works but unfortunately the hardware is not fit for purchases meaning we as owners are left with huge bills WHEN not if it fails. There is a reason you cant buy a nox sensor for months from dealer. Its because they are ALL failing prematurely. Merc as usual dont want to know if your car is older than 3 years. It was also illegal to hide emissions but didnt stop these manufacturers hiding results. Ive seen numerous offerings from mappers and happy customers but no horror stories regarding mot failures. Personally not happy driving a potential money pit hence wanted some feedback from owners who have deleted.
