Beautiful sunny skies brought a record TWENTY ONE gorgeous SLKs out to a suburb of Seattle for coffee, camaraderie and scenic drive in the country to lunch at Snoqualmie casino!

Many a head turned as we caravanned 'SLK Style' through town and country and into the valet at the casino located on the west side of Snoqualmie Pass on I90. At the head of the pack as we pulled in, some 16 of us at that point, it was heard "Wow! T
he whole fleet has arrived!"

The SLK NW Group always makes a grand entrance everywhere we go...

THE GOOD NEWS OF THE MEET (other than the obvious) we voted to postpone our Oktoberfest trip to Oregon until 2010 in favor of driving to Las Vegas for the SLKWorld Retreat September 25-27!

Stay tuned as we will post more information over the upcoming months so all the west coast SLKs can caravan into Vegas together...!

We're not building so much - we've been meeting since October 2002. It's just that now that SLKs have been on the road for 10 years and are gaining in popularity we are seeing more members. We have over 50 active participants and more than 125 in our ranks...

LIFE IS GOOD IN A SLK and it's catching! :)
Or rather, addictive!

Yeah, you have a great group, Joe, Eija (my wife) and I met last summer to get the ATL group going and we are slowly gathering and growing. With dj and ken and others joining we keep evolving, tho' oddly I have to say we've got a # of 55's! But all SLKs are welcome. A work in progress.:)

This was our 1st time we went on a meet with SLKNW Me & Mrs Baron-02 had a blast! Dave54 invited us so we followed him up there from Portland OR & we came from Salem OR which it was about a 4 hour drive total for us but is was well worth it! The SLKNW members that I met are a nice group of fun-loving people & We are looking forward to future events with them.

Pacific NW has got some awesome roads...sometimes I wonder if the road engineers are SLK owners! They beg for some spirited driving, altho I am learning my one year old Passport radar detector is already out of date, as I am seeing the po-po using something that is not registering...arrrgh!

Looks like a good time. I'll be back in the Seattle area next month for a visit home but unfortunately, won't have the SLK with me. The roads are a lot of fun, I spent years growing up there searching for the perfect ones on motorcycles.

You can join us since you are an SLKer. (odd car travels at the back of the pack). Or if you are really friendly really fast, there's usually an empty passenger seat...

We have a coffee meet in Seattle May 31 and a 3 day trip from Seattle to E WA for the Hot Air Balloon Stampede in Walla Walla May 8-10.

Let me know if you're in town and would like to hook up...

Would love to hear of some twisty roads we may not have found~
