Hi purchased a 2013 R172 AMG SLK55 in the summer and have enjoyed the car so far. It is black with a red leather interior, full merc history 29,000 miles and pretty much mint. It will not do many miles as i have a everyday workhorse for the daily grind. Purchased a fitted cover from Specialised Covers and sits in my garage when not in use. Used to performance vehicles having owned other AMG's, F Types, M3's, Z4M and others, but i do love a nice big V8.

That interior use-cover is great. My SLK lives beneath something similar and even though it's garaged it is amazing the stuff it keeps off not only the paintwork but also all the crappy little bits that accumulates around the rubber seals. It's a good investment.
