How difficult is it to get to the OEM mic? Did you have to take off the entire piece above the windshield? Details, please...

Yes, you have to remove the windshield piece, and the side pillar panel (passenger side). And then fish it to the floorboard (that's where I installed the Parrot) It's not difficult, but if it's never been off, you might want to have some goop available to reglue the clips as mine came off the very first time I took it apart. Seems MB used some pretty cheep glue originally.

You don't have to remove the glovebox, I did for repainting purposes.
The picture on thr right is to show you need to install a couple of 100 ohm resisters so the sound is not distorted coming out of the Bose OEM amp. This was the alternative to buying a $150 harness. ($.25 or $150 ... hmmm)
