Looking at the 1st Pic you just posted I see you have a Fleet of Mobil Butlers following you. 馃榿 馃榿

Re the 1st Pic. You have the edge in performance, agility, parking and driving enjoyment. However the campervan owners have a clear undeniable advantage if you need arises to spend the night in your vehicle!

Keep the piccies of your trip flowing.

By the way, that yellow colour is really growing on me now. When I first saw it, remembered a comment on here last year when the first photos of the Final Edition were shown and was described by someone as "Sports Light Custard" My view has changed - what do others think?

Agree with you on the yellow I never was a fan of yellow cars but the yellow looks good on the R 172 on the 2 CV not so much. 馃榿馃榿

Not sure yet - will have to look into it now that I've heard about it ;)
"Cape Wrath" - The most North Westerly point in Great Britain is the next one on route..!!
Was an easy one for Me back in the 1980's, as I was on a push bike at the time(y)

Are you heading to Ardnamurchan Point? Westernmost point on the mainland!

Last time we went to Cape Wrath, or at least as far as you can go there without catching a ferry the rain was driving horizontally, I kid you not....we just sat in the car eating our sandwiches and marvelled at it racing past the windscreen without touching it.....

@Trev5 Now you've got my interest.

Dunnett Head, Ardnamurchan Point, Lizard Point & Ness Point are the N. W, S & E points.

What are the other four, SW, SE, NE and NW ? Do tell !

Apologies again, this thread has drifted from luggage and boot space, into a trip report and now to a geographical discussion about the UK mainland.

SW = Lands End of course.
SE = Is a National Trust light house, down near Dover....?
NE = John o' Groats is close, but Duncansby Head is the most NE point....?

NW = Cape Wrath, but is a passenger ferry and then 10 miles of road...

So full day on Orkney - and it's lovely! Roads are great and, better yet, relatively empty!
