why not go with the oem parts? good enuff for the manufacturer, no? 
💡 Best SLK55 Engine/Motor Mounts???
Hi team!
I've been doing a ton of research but I can't get a straight answer from anyone. I'm trying to understand what is the best engine mounts for the r171 SLK 55 AMG.
It looks like I have a few choices but if there are more please let me know!
1) stock replacement (Lemforder?)
2) black series
3) East Coast Euro
4) VRP
5) German Muscle
Also, should I stick with the oil filled mounts or should I go poly, and why?
I'm installing long tube headers so I thought about doing this while there. If you have recommendations for transmission mounts, that would also be amazing! Going to do everything at once.

My OEM engine mount failed within the first 10,000 miles. At 40,000 miles now, and the engines starting to twist in the bay. I'm thinking about getting poly mounts now.why not go with the oem parts? good enuff for the manufacturer, no?
