Abglugdesk issue :-)

Hi,
One of the wings of the abflugdeck (!! really what a name !!) doesn't seat correctly when the roof is down.
Pictures attached.
If i push it towards the centre it pops into position.

So .... why isn't it doing it, automatially and what needs to be adjusted please?

Thanks
james

I'm not sure there is a diy for the 172, but the 171 diy should be a similar method.

There are shims to adjust and the clips can be become slightly bent.
Open the boot and see if it gently pushes into place.
If it does then review the diy write up.

Does it stay after you pushed it into position? Mine does the same thing as yours when I'm cleaning and leaned on it with too much pressure.

The stops are under the big movable panel, easiest access is to partially start the roof motion for the panel to lift.

This is for the 171 but I think it is basically the same for the 172

Mine has the same problem. I just manually adjust it and drive away
