Hi everyone! I picked up a 2005 350 with a 6-speed yesterday. This is my second one and dang if it isn't the same color scheme! What I find interesting on this one is the features it has/doesn't have. It has air scarf, dual climate control, whatever the package is that lets you put the top down with the key aimed at the door handle. What it doesn't have: no power seats, no power tilt/telescope, no H/K, no satellite radio. I also noticed that in the settings menu, I can only set the clock and date. There is no menu for the "extra" settings, even though the manual says it should be there.

Anyway, thanks to everyone here for all the posts since my last SLK over 5 years ago. Without you guys, I wouldn't have bought another without a warranty. But from all your posts, I can sleep better knowing I can handle most of the issues this thing can throw at me, except programming the garage door opener, not getting the fast flashing light for some reason!

Here's some pics. I haven't had a chance to get any "glamour" shots yet. That's my green Roush that I traded in for this. It was a V6 with the worst clutch I ever had and I changed it twice to try and get something better.

Actually... The engine was rated at 310 hp stock. That was before the cold air intake, Roush exhaust, SCT tune and then I regeared it from 2.73 to 3.73. It was quite fast. It even handled pretty well for having a solid axle rear end. It just wasn't "light" or "nimble" like the SLK. It had a dual-mass flywheel from the factory. It shredded the clutch on the first mountain run. Not burned, shredded since the two piece flywheel had too much movement and ripped the face off the clutch. I had 2 aftermarkets with solid flywheels and both sucked. Either you spun the tires or burned the clutch on take off, no way to modulate it. The SLK is just way more refined in every way compared to it. But consider the price point, the Stang is cheaper and built accordingly. It's a great bang for the buck and I had my fun with it. Now I'm back in the car I really enjoy driving :)

Welcome back, i have a silver 2006 350 with the items you are missing plus the same ones you have! Im up in northern Cali. The garage door took a few tries before it worked. Sorry i just can’t remember what the sticking point was! I have the 7spd auto. After 18 years with my honda s2000 i was tired of a 6spd and since my wife couldn’t drive a stick, i was never able to get our 4runner easily to pull our boat, go 4wheeling or just move stuff! Now, we are both happy campers and she can drive the sports car too!
