use the bottom one for outside temperature so want the top one to be in KM

I have a 2009 350 that I brought from the US into Canada. So the speedometer is set in miles, but through the options I have changed the gauges in the middle on the top and bottom to KM which is what we have here.

My question is this: I want to use the bottom one for outside temperature so want the top one to be in KM. I can get the display to show that by using the up arrow 3 times once the car is on. Is there a way I can get it to stay in that position so that the top in the middle is always showing the speed without having to set it every time I start the car. Thanks. Ira
