Blower motor LHD/RHD

My blower has been noisy for a while, finally got round to removing it tonight (what a *pig* of a job that is!), and the motor seems to have too much vertical play, so the outer plastic bit is rubbing on the housing and making the noise (theres black plastic scraped all over the white housing).

I don't think its repairable, certainly not by me, so looked online for a replacement, but the LHD ones seem to be about half the price of the RHD ones. My regulator is fine, and the outer housing is fine, I just need the motor - is the actual inner motor interchangeable between LHD and RHD cars?

Or if anyone else has other suggestions on fixing it that would be great too - it's currently disconnected as I couldn't face the battle to put it all back together!

Some have replaced the three grommets/washers with success.

Thanks - any idea if they have a separate part number, or whether they're "generic" items? Tried googling, but no success.

The last time somebody just went to a local diy store and sourced as close a match as possible.
