What is supposed to fit in all the holders

Having just purchased my first SLK I'm curious as to what MB had planned to go in all the storage spaces, there are clips and elastic straps for items, does anyone know what they were designed to hold/store?

Check your owner's manual?

as an example, behind seat is for 1st aid kit or owner's manual binder

Garage
One clip at rear of each seat is a fixing for cloth wind restrictor.
Card holder in driver sun visor (car parks).
Pass footwell up to you (I use it for deicer, scrapper and drink).

Cubby holes either side of sat nav in boot I use for fold away water proofs.

Central stowage in cabin.

Handbook, phone (and puck for Bluetooth link to car), wallet. Locking wheel nut for service.

There is no law as to what you put where, but first aid kit behind seat is best place for it.
You do not want to be emptying a full boot to find it.
Ditto fire extinguisher, if you use one.
