Garage
I don't listen to music, weather or news while driving, except when the passenger turns on the CD, etc. I like the "silence", nothing but the sound of the engine and the tires on the road.

Whoa, gotta have some music. I've said it before, I like Sam & Dave's "Hold on, I'm coming..." Turn it up loud, well sort of loud, lean back, and ride. Makes me feel like a million bucks. I really do enjoy satellite radio, either Sirius or XM, doesn't matter. I like 60s & 70s music. I listen to satellite radio in all of our vehicles and all day at work. I enjoy Fox News programs at night.

I pretty much fitted my whole CD collection on to 1 mp3 DVD and had space to spare which I gave to my gf to add her stuff. Given that I haven't bought a CD for a looong time my stuff is a bit uncool. Massive attack goes down the best I find.

My main disk has tons of mp3s organized on 20+ folders:
Oldies
80's
90's
Disco
Dance
RAP
Hip-Hop
Techno
Rock
Hard Rock
Classic
Reggae
Romanian Etno
Romanian Pop
Italian
Latino
Alternative
Blues
etc.
So I can choose almost anything from Snap to Mozart to ZZ Top to UB40 to Bocelli to Shakira and so on based on the mood or to create a mood.

The DVD support for MP3 is probably the best thing the car has which I didn't know until after I bought it.

Nothin' like open air drivin' with good tunes playin.'
My iPOD does the selecting and a great job it does.
On the commute home tonight, the line-up included:

Billie Holiday, The White Stripes, Gomez, Edie Brickell,
Dianne Reeves, Steve Earle, Dom Jean Claire - Choeur des moines de l'abbaye St.-Pierre de Solesme (easy for my iPOD to say), and
the Lemonheads.

Funny thing is. . .the compilation worked.

LOL! 8 out of the 12 tracks (including santana) are probably the most played in my car too! But then if i'm by myself in the car i sometimes switch off the music and listen to the car, it sounds better than an orchastra i've heard.
