Well guess what I was impressed with my parents SLK280 ; I though it was sluggish and boring to drive but Ive put in S mode, Esp off and was shifting manualy;May I say that this car shines after 120KM/H it just pulls hard coming from a SLK55 AMG, I noticed that the SLK280 has a lag in torque in a certain RPM and then gets going.
Overall I think it is faster than my modified Cayenne S, The Most I got of the SLK280 was around 190-200kmh due to traffic.:)

:D I like the colour but the wheels arent nice they remind me of the wheels that come on the R170 SLK's, I think our cubanite would look very nice with a Brabus Bodykit/ Exhaust combined with their Monoblock V wheels in 18 7.5 front and 8.5 rear, But what to do , they I told them this before and they dont want to change anything in that car; The only so called modification is the V-Kool transparent tints

Sounds familiar. The Komfort Varioroof Modul is worth every cent , if your parents like to retract the roof.

BTW, It looks like from the pix that you can anchor the tarps on the side of the garage area to the brick floor easily during a sandstorm.

:)I can understand in their eyes, the car is great the way it came. Have them hang around the forums, specifically slkworld.com awhile, and they'll be riding around on 20", pulling out the dash to install a touch screen 7" LCD, and challenge B55 on the number of mods. Tell them a stock SLK is just the beginning.:D

Haha , I wish I can convince them when they say something they stick to their word and dont change anything

I am going to do this soon and also going to have a tarp for the rear and have a zipper to close and connect both tarps from the sides

Excellent. Let us know how it holds up during a sandstorm. What is the usual windspeed in a sandstorm?

 What type of damage do you suffer from the sand storms? How often do they occur?
There arent any damages we suffer from Sandstorms its just that Buildings get dusty and so do car.
A couple of weeks ago it stayed dusty from Saturday to Tuesday and in which less people were going out often for example when I went to my favourite coffee shop to drink my Cafe Mocha I noticed that inside the coffe shop was crouded because the weather outside is dusty and kindof annoying while you eat or drink because sand gets in to your eyes and is slightly irritating while you walk; In the same week I was going out with my friends and we were always going to Malls and Complexes because we couldnt walk by the sea due to the dust.
I tend to walk by the Scientific Centre because there is a nice area along the sea where you can jog, run, walk and cycle.
Hopefully in Winter its gets very cold like the of Winter 2005 were we had lots of rain and thunder.
