telescoping steering colunm error

i tried to change my cluster instrument light to led only to find out it not working after replace them with the LED from superbrightled.com
anyway, i put the old bulb back and everything is working but on the dash board there is a error light. after searching internet i think it is called Telescoping steering column. anyone know what happen and how to fix it.
thanks

nvm. I turn the key on, moving steering wheel in and out and play with the lever a few time, it locks now and the light disappear.

no more playing around with my car. Time to just drive and enjoy

There is an old repair saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

It's true. I was trying to get a whiter look on dash board but the LEDs are not well made. Easy to remove but plastic parts are more than 10 years old so they are indeed fragile and easy to break off. Shouldn't touch it.
